Ebony publishes °Ä²Ê¿ª½± report on violence against transgender women of color

°Ä²Ê¿ª½± writer Don Terry examined violence against transgender women of color for the upcoming summer issue of Intelligence Report magazine. The report found that while an °Ä²Ê¿ª½± analysis of federal hate crime data shows that LGBT people are more victimized than any other minority, transgender women of color face the worst victimization of all.
Even before the stabbing of this week, the first two months of 2015 saw at least seven transgender women of color – almost one a week – murdered. The report can be read at Ebony.com .
