During the three-day trial, jurors heard testimony about the brutal beating of Jordan Gruver by Klansmen who were recruiting at a county fair in Brandenburg, Ky.
Among the witnesses was a former Klansman who testified that IKA Imperial Wizard Ron Edwards instructed him to kill °Ä²Ê¿ª½± founder Morris Dees in the late 1990s when the °Ä²Ê¿ª½± was suing the Aryan Nations. The plot was foiled by an undercover FBI operation, and the would-be assassin served three years in federal prison. Edwards was never charged.
