, the Muslim-hating propagandist behind the Atlas Shrugs website, is at it again. Even as U.S. officials recoil in horror, the woman whose blog once suggested that President Obama is the 鈥渓ove child鈥� of Malcolm X is celebrating a video that appears to show U.S. soldiers urinating on dead Taliban fighters in Afghanistan.

鈥淐AIR has whipped itself up into an Islamic frenzy because聽a video surfaced that appears to show US Marines [in] combat gear urinating on several dead jihadis,鈥� Geller鈥檚 website said Wednesday, referring to the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Muslim advocacy group. 鈥淲ould anyone have CAIRed if Marines urinated on dead Nazi soldiers during WWII? (Anyone besides CAIR and Nazis, that is)?鈥�

Soldiers will be soldiers and war is hell, but the answer is actually 鈥榶es.鈥� Military regulations do not countenance the desecration of enemy corpses. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta said he found the soldiers鈥� apparent behavior 鈥渦tterly deplorable鈥� and, if true, 鈥渋nexcusable.鈥� "There should be an investigation and these young people should be punished," Sen. John McCain, a former prisoner of war, remarked on 鈥淐BS This Morning.鈥� "Allegations of Marines not doing the right thing in regard to dead Taliban insurgents are very serious,鈥� Marine Corps spokesman Lt. Colonel Stewart Upton said, 鈥渁nd if proven, represent a failure to adhere to the high standards expected of American military personnel."

But Geller is made of tougher stuff. 鈥淚 love these Marines,鈥� she writes. 鈥淧erhaps this is the infidel interpretation of the Islamic ritual of washing and preparing the body for burial.鈥�

Geller鈥檚 star has dimmed considerably since Sept. 11, 2010, when she and Dutch Muslim-bashing politician Geerts Wilders headlined at a rally against the so-called Ground Zero Mosque in lower Manhattan. Just as Timothy McVeigh and his co-conspirators set back the antigovernment 鈥淧atriot鈥� movement by effectively putting some of its words into practice, Geller, her close ally Robert Spencer and many of their Islamophobic colleagues were deeply embarrassed last summer when the Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik quoted them approvingly in his anti-Islamic manifesto. (Last July, Breivik killed 77 people, most of them teenagers, who he thought were helping promote Muslim immigration.) The sales of her latest book Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance have been lackluster. In October, two hotels, one in Sugarland, Texas and one in Nashville, Tenn., cancelled events at which she was a featured speaker.

Geller, of course, blames jihad, the forces of 鈥減olitical correctness,鈥� and the liberal media for conspiring to silence her. 鈥淭ruth,鈥� she says, 鈥渋s the New Hate Speech.鈥�

Or maybe the problem is that her hate speech (and if chortling about the desecration of dead bodies doesn鈥檛 qualify, it鈥檚 hard to think of what does) so clearly reveals the ugly truth about what she really believes.
