Crusader without Violence is one the first biography written of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Its author, Lawrence D. Reddick, was one of King's parishioners at Dexter Avenue Baptist Church and the historian of the Montgomery Improvement Association, which organized the 13-month long Montgomery bus boycott.
