A grave marker stands where George and Dorothy Dorsey Malcolm are buried near Monroe, Georgia. They were among four black people pulled from a car and killed at Moore’s Ford Bridge on the Walton-Oconee county lines on July 25, 1946. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation officially closed the murder investigation on Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, without ever charging anyone in the crime.
